x.com links, twitter.com links — both work
Since Twitter became X, the app shares links on x.com, while older links, bookmarks and embeds still use twitter.com. They point to the same tweet, and this downloader accepts both — along with mobile links and links that include tracking parameters such as ?s=20.
The only thing that matters is that the link points to one specific post: it should contain /status/ followed by a number. Links to a profile, a search or a list don’t identify a single video, so they can’t be downloaded.

Tap the share icon under the post and choose Copy link. On desktop you can copy the address from your browser while viewing the post.
It’s a short form of a post link without the username. It identifies the same post, so it works here too.
No. Downloading reads the public media file — it doesn’t interact with the post or notify anyone.
Yes, as long as the post is public. Long videos may take a little longer to save because the files are larger.
The post was deleted, or the link was cut off when copying. Open the link in your browser to check it still loads.
